GAC GS4 Cabin & Cargo Checks for Import Buyers

Start with the people and luggage the GS4 must carry. A staged lifestyle photograph can illustrate a layout, but the buying decision needs checks on the actual vehicle.

01

Describe the load before judging the space

Ask the customer what normally travels with them: adult passengers, child seats, luggage or work equipment. State the combination rather than requesting a generally spacious SUV. A vehicle may accommodate the bags only with a seat folded, which changes passenger use. Give the supplier the dimensions of any item that determines acceptance and ask for measurements with the seats in the intended everyday arrangement.

02

Use photographs as context, not measurement

Our GS4 MAX references come from GAC’s global model presentation and include staged scenes with the vehicle parked. They illustrate a setting rather than usable dimensions or an approved seating arrangement while travelling. Verify the offered GS4 version before applying any published space description. Camera angle, seat position and accessories can make a layout appear different from the one your customer will actually use.

03

Check the seats and passenger controls

Request a view of the relevant seating positions and a demonstration of the seat adjustments your customer requires. Check rear access, head restraints and the presence of the necessary child-seat attachment information where applicable. Ask for the appropriate vehicle documentation when fit matters. Do not infer seat comfort or attachment compatibility from a promotional image alone. Use the equipment guide to record required functions and their evidence.

04

Measure access as well as the luggage floor

A bag may fit on the luggage floor but not pass conveniently through the opening. Ask about the loading opening, floor shape and space with the seats positioned as intended. Check folding mechanisms and the accessories supplied with the vehicle. For a used GS4, inspect the area for wear or damage. Keep measured values associated with the candidate and describe how they were taken so the buyer can interpret them.

05

Include everyday use in the final brief

State which cabin compromises the customer accepts and which would rule out a candidate. For example, occasional seat folding may be acceptable for a large item but unsuitable for daily passenger work. Put the critical measurements and features into the GS4 sourcing request. That gives the supplier a practical acceptance target and avoids reducing the discussion to a trim name or an unqualified claim about capacity.

For a customer carrying a fixed-size case, provide its external dimensions and explain whether it must travel with all required passenger seats in use. Request a measurement or an appropriate demonstration on the candidate. This is more informative than comparing advertised luggage volumes calculated under unknown seat arrangements.

Keep the cabin assessment specific to the intended activity. A parked-vehicle leisure photograph does not show how occupants should be seated during travel, and a cargo arrangement should not be treated as an additional passenger position.
